Dr. Raul Daniel Chioibaș is a Primary Physician in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery with over 20 years of clinical experience and more than 4,000 aesthetic surgical procedures performed. He is the Founder and Head of the Plastic Surgery Department at CBS Medcom Hospital in Timișoara, Romania, and Associate Professor at the "Victor Babeș" University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
His academic path includes a PhD focused on the dimensional and psychological evaluation of breast augmentation patients. Dr. Chioibaș completed multiple international fellowships in leading aesthetic surgery centers across Italy, Sweden, Japan, Belgium, and the United States (including training with Dr. Constantino Mendieta in Miami), shaping a refined and globally informed surgical approach.
An active member of ISAPS and the Association of Plastic Surgeons in Romania, he serves on the Board of Governors of AAMS and frequently participates as an invited speaker and instructor at major international congresses. He is also President and Scientific Program Director of the TIMBFRAS Congress.
Dr. Chioibaș has authored many scientific articles, contributed to national research grants in oncoplastic and reconstructive surgery, and published three books on aesthetic and interdisciplinary surgical concepts. His work integrates technical precision, academic rigor, and a strong focus on patient-centered outcomes.
